Official Opening of the Club’s New Kitchen

The Club’s recent first Friday of the month social event was attended by the Epping Community Bendigo Bank Board who were present to celebrate the official opening of the Club’s new kitchen.

The kitchen renovation was carried out during the Club’s four month Covid-19 shutdown at a cost of $105,000 of which the Epping Community Bendigo bank contributed $45,000 by way of a community grant.

Club President, Neal Swancott in welcoming the Bank Board thanked them for the grant allocation and their continued support of various organisations within the Epping and district area.

Epping and District Financial Services Chairman, Rob Phillips in reply said that the Bank was pleased to be able to help fund worthy projects which assisted organisations and pointed out that the Bank can only support the local community if the local community supports the only local bank in Epping.

He also mentioned the previous significant grant through the North Epping Rangers Club which was used to help build the excellent multipurpose sports courts now in operation at the Club’s premises.
