Important Club Updates!
Again State triples games take precedence with players involved in the Mixed pairs and a clash of a dual competition player plus overseas holidays (also the earlier delay due to other State/Zone games) has caused some minor changes to these competitions.
Mixed Pairs Final:
- To be played on Saturday 3 December between G Stace, M Gardiner and V Riley, S Mewburn – 18 ends with cards called at 12.30pm.
Major Triples:
- Semi-final between M Peisley, N Martelli, P Harbrow and P Delves, M Havron, M Hollier to be played on Saturday 26 November with cards called at 12.30pm
- Final between S Garvey, R Phillips, S Mewburn and winner of above semi-final game to be played on Saturday 10 December with cards called at 12.30pm
Triples Plate Final
- Game between R Thorp, B Spaul, R Gallop and N Oppedisano, J Fry, R Matheson to be played on Saturday 10 December with cards called at 12.30pm
Zappis Big Challenge
With Covid causing cancellation of last year’s challenge the 2022 Zappis Big Challenge – North Epping (red colour) v Rest of the World (yellow colour) has been scheduled for Saturday 17 December. Rest of the World starts at Epping Oval. (with some minor exceptions to even numbers).
Open to all bowlers.
Men’s Bowling Club AGM:
The North Epping Men’s Bowling Club AGM is scheduled for Saturday 10 December commencing at 12.15pm. Nominations are now called for
- President
- Bowls Administrator
- Zone Delegate
- Committee – members representative
- Selectors – three to be elected

Club Christmas Function;
The club’s Christmas function has been set down for Friday 16 December – full two course dinner with two roasts, potatoes and three salads plus desert.
As this is an externally catered event please put your names down early on the reservation list to allow for catering.
