Delves wins Singles championship

Paul Delves had to use all of his experience to engineer a come from behind 25-20 win over the youthful Andrew Caswell in the North Epping Bowling Club’s Epping Community Bendigo Bank Championship Singles final.

Andrew, who recently returned to bowls after a twelve year break due to family and work commitments, having previously won the Championship in 2006 and 2008 showed he will again become a serious contender.

Paul who last won the Championship in 2021, being runner up in 2022, trailed 16-18 and then charged home winning five of the last six ends to take out the prized trophy.
