2021 Financial Report
The Club’s financial report summary for the 2020-21 calendar year was delivered at the AGM on Sunday, 24 October, by Treasurer Ron Peterson:
- The Club made a profit of $18,743 for the year ended June 2021 against last year’s loss of $33,350.
- This profit included $10,000 of government cash flow boost paid in this year from last year’s Covid-19 grants.
- Club trading for the year ended June 2021 included close to a full year’s trading without any shutdowns due to Covid-19. With two major shutdowns – one in YE 2020 and now having just come out of a further 16 week shutdown, it is difficult to compare year-on-year figures.
- Club trading was slow in the August to October months of the year due to continued Covid-19 capacity restrictions.
- Revenue in the last three months of the year was strong and was assisted by North Epping Rangers football using the club for after game socialising.
- Covid-19 has again affected our revenue for the start of this year and we expect that the club will have difficulty in making a significant profit, if any, for the 2022 year.
